Is SmartSorb™ CBD Different?

How Does SmartSorb™ Work?

In a randomized, double-blind study published by Phytotherapy Research, scientists tested the efficacy of both a water-soluble CBD powder and a lipid-soluble CBD powder by administering them to 10 healthy adults. What they learned is that the water-soluble formula was 4.5 times more bioavailable.

In another randomized, double-blind study conducted by the Department of Health and Exercise at Colorado State University, researchers sought to explore conflicting information about the physiological effects of CBD by examining five different CBD formulations, including water-soluble and lipid-soluble options, over the course of 4 hours. The results, published in Pharmaceuticals, indicate that water-dispersible CBD that used SmartSorb™’s technology outperformed lipid-soluble CBD in all categories tested, with measurable absorption in as little as 10 minutes, compared to 60 minutes or more for the other products.
