Meet the New Technology That Helps Make CBD Better

Meet the New Technology That Helps Make CBD Better - NextEvo Naturals

by James Han

Cannabidiol (CBD) has skyrocketed in popularity in recent years. According to a 2019 Gallup poll, 14 percent of Americans used CBD products, but by April 2020, that number jumped to 33 percent — more than double the previous year’s population. Despite this surge, many people are still unsure whether CBD is right for them. With so much confusion over what CBD does and how to take it, it’s no wonder that people are still skeptical about the benefits of incorporating CBD into their daily routine.

On top of that, the CBD industry is changing rapidly and a lot of research still needs to be done before we can understand the full scope of CBD’s effects on the body. The best CBD products work with the body, based on the strongest scientific research. With this mission in mind, we set out to make a better CBD. SmartSorb, NextEvo’s innovative CBD technology, has  made it possible for the consumers to get more from the products they consume.

What Is SmartSorb™?

SmartSorb, the proprietary technology behind our CBD products, is an emulsion that was developed over six years based on emerging research into the most effective methods of delivering CBD into the bloodstream. We wanted to create a product with the best possible absorption, backed by the most compelling scientific data available. Unlike conventional oil-based formulas, SmartSorb was created by studying various particle sizes and food-safe emulsions to create a water-dispersible formulation that optimizes CBD and allows the body to absorb it four times better. SmartSorb is the reason NextEvo is able to offer a convenient CBD capsule that is still highly bioavailable. Smartsorb has been subjected to multiple double-blind, randomized studies that have all proven its efficacy to absorb better.

Is SmartSorb™ CBD Different?

In one sense, SmartSorb is similar to other CBD manufacturing methods in that it starts with THC-free hemp and extracts the chemical compound CBD from the plant. As is the case with other products, the CBD in our SmartSorb interacts with a user’s endocannabinoid system (ECS), a complex cell-signalling system in your body that may play a role in such functions as memory and learning, mood, sleep, stress response and more. However, unlike other CBD products, SmartSorb offers a superior delivery method that has been proven to help your body absorb CBD faster.

How Does SmartSorb™ Work?

SmartSorb was designed to work with your body to allow CBD to be absorbed to its full potential. In fact, researchers have found that water-dispersible formulas work much better than lipid-soluble products. In a randomized, double-blind study published by Phytotherapy Research, scientists tested the efficacy of both a water-soluble CBD powder and a lipid-soluble CBD powder by administering them to 10 healthy adults. What they learned is that the water-soluble formula was 4.5 times more bioavailable.

In another randomized, double-blind study conducted by the Department of Health and Exercise at Colorado State University, researchers sought to explore conflicting information about the physiological effects of CBD by examining five different CBD formulations, including water-soluble and lipid-soluble options, over the course of 4 hours. The results, published in Pharmaceuticals, indicate that water-dispersible CBD that used SmartSorb’s technology outperformed lipid-soluble CBD in all categories tested, with measurable absorption in as little as 10 minutes, compared to 60 minutes or more for the other products.

Now, with the launch of a new line of CBD products that feature our SmartSorb technology, consumers can take less CBD and still experience the same effects, thereby elevating their wellness game and experiencing the potential benefits of CBD in their daily routines.
